Turning her challenging journey into a blessing, she now lives life supporting many cancer patients, as well as being founder of Rainbow Wish, a non-profit Social Entreprise, where Audrey is helping many to overcome depression using Horse-Assisted Therapy. Throughout Audrey’s career, her students have always regarded her highly, and her corporate clients have specifically requested for her support services after attending her trainings. With this mindset, Audrey has the ability to help students learn and appreciate any subject under discussion, and bring to life the importance and usefulness of the lesson learned. Audrey’s goal is to make every lesson fun, interesting and relevant to the students’ lives. They have come to realise that Computing and Mathematics are not “useless” after all, and can even relate them to their various Diploma courses. Her students have almost always started the academic year hating Computing and Mathematics, but under Audrey’s creative facilitation, these students have emerged loving the module, and appreciating that Mathematics forms the basis of their daily lives. She has taught many students Mathematics at Pri / Sec / JC / Polytechnic & University levels. Audrey was also a private tutor for the past 15 years, teaching at her own tuition centre, First Fruits Eduhub. For the past 18 years, Audrey had lectured part-time with Nanyang Polytechnic’s Infocomm/IT department, Singapore Polytechnic’s Centre for Mathematics, and had been an Academic Associate with Republic Polytechnic for 10 years from 2006 - 2016, facilitating Mathematics modules using Problem-Based Learning pedagogy. Notable clients she has worked with include Singapore Airline, Singapore Press Holdings, Attorney General’s Chambers, Citibank, Intel, Motorola and Samsung.Īudrey is current teaching Upper Secondary / Junior College Math (part-time) at a tuition centre. Audrey has always been entrusted to single-handedly manage projects, and she has delivered with good results on time. Her frequent travels taught her to be highly independent and to work effectively with people from all cultures and races. She began her career as a Software Specialist at Clarity Systems for 3 years, and the next two years as Applications Engineer at Robotics Vision Systems Inc.Īudrey acquired her wide ranging work experiences through working with global clients across diverse industries. A graduate from National University of Singapore in 1995, with Honours (Second Class Upper) in Computational Science and Mathematics, Audrey is trained using scientific techniques to solve mathematical problems computationally.
